This study reveals that higher genomic diversity in CTCs — measured via MATH scores — and non-silent mutations in BCL9L are strong predictors of poorer overall survival in mCRC. These findings highlight the potential of minimally invasive CTC genomic profiling for prognosis and treatment monitoring, paving the way for more personalized cancer care .
