We’re excited to share our recent publication, “Differential performance of strategies for single-cell whole-genome amplification,” in Cell Reports Methods. In this study, we systematically compared several methods for amplifying DNA from individual cells—a key step for single-cell genomics. Our results reveal significant differences in how well these strategies capture the genome, which can impact downstream analysis and data quality. Understanding these differences will help researchers choose the best approach for their single-cell studies and improve the reliability of their results. You can find all the details in the full paper!
